It follows the old established pattern. You can bank on her claiming invisible fulfillment in the end. Guarantee. She even hedged the expectation date 2 weeks before the predicted date arrived. Its all just TOO predictable.Its got to be something to do with unconscious forces in the human mi8nd. I cant see any other way to explain the rank predictability of the pattern they follow.

Observers of Prophetic expectation/ Disappointment and post disappointment Rationalization will recognize THIS arguement. Apparently postulated by our dear Nancy of the Zeta in the past day or so. Its quoted from the "Troubled times chatroom" :

Well Im a hardened old cinema goer and have become cynical over the past ten years. I dont go more than 3 times a year, but I was impressed. Its slower than the first movie, true, but its not boring even when its slow. But there are two fight sequences, in a square with Agent Smith whop endlessly replicates himself, and in a mansion with ancient weaponry, these are two of the greatest action sequences ever witnesses on a screen . Mind boggling.
this weekend, while katie and i were at the beach, we both spent a little time reading coc (no, it wasn't a study lol ...i can honestly say that i did not favor the disfellowshipping decision made by the [governing] body.
for when the vote came i conformed to the majority decision.
i felt dismayed when the body assigned me to prepare mateiral in support of the decision, yet i accepted the assignment and wrote it as was desired by the body...my belief in the organization as god's only agency on earth caused me to do what i did at that time without particularly great qualms of conscience.. .
Im no expert on this matter, but having researched many cultic movements and having been in quite a few as an observer, Ive noticed there is a great tendancy in groups that are trying to establish a power base, to recruit among the intelligent young. This is why so many groups recruit in universities. The Boston Church of Christ is a very good example of this. The infamous Anne Hamilton Byrne cult in Melbourne 20 years ago was comprised largely of doctors and registered nurses!! Recruitment specifically targeted these groups. A cult in Sydney called "TT" also targetted health professionals. Not to mention the Japanese Aum Shinrikyo cult that targetted qualified scientific / medical types.
All this goes to show that joining a cult has nothing to do with level of intelligence, or even level of education necessarily, but it has to do with people who are seeking after something and where they are in their life at that particular moment. I think it fair to speculate that smaller more "cultic" cults tend to focus upon the young / educated / intelligent wheras established cults like the dubs appeal to the less educated middle classes.
All this is highly debatable of course.

The very next article in that same WT (July 15, 1960) is also replete with symbolic classes complete with descriptions in flowery language. The article is called “STAYING AWAKE WITH THE FAITHFULL AND DISCREET SLAVE” Hows this one :

The “trees of life on either side of the river” class. The “Shedders of leaves for the curing of the nations” class. Heres an even better one though, speaking of a different “river of life” that one which flows eastward to the Dead sea.:

The “Trees bearing fruit each month” class. The “revitalizing waters flowing into the dead sea” class.
And as for the “Great crowd” perhaps we could rename them The “Dead sea like Captivity” class or the “Formerly dead fish now made alive” class.
